    Dot matrix or normal

    Is ther any differnece in coding [or other development tasks] for printing on dot matrix compare to laser or bjet printeres?

    As long as you have up-to-date drivers for it then there is no reason why it should be any different.

    However, if it is a really old printer and has no modern driver support then you will have major problems, or it might even be impossible.

    I tried to print stuff on my old (16 years!) Citizen dot matrix and it wouldn't do anything at all apart from text and that couldn't be formatted or positioned.

    You need to get the drivers sorted out before you'll get anywhere.
