setcurrent page for pdf
I am using a shell execute to open a pdf. How do I open the pdf to a certian page? I read that you can use the setcurrentpage property. How do you use this. In my module I have a public function and then on my form in my flexgrid I call the function.
VB Code:
Public Function OpenPDF(ByVal pdf As String) As Long
OpenPDF = ShellExecute(0&, vbNullString, pdf, vbNullString, vbNullString, vbNormalFocus)
End Function
Private Sub MSFlexGrid1_Click()
OpenPDF (App.Path & "\" & "Howe Vol 2.pdf")
End Sub

Re: setcurrent page for pdf
I think you need to have the Acrobat SDK in order to use that. I ran a search through all my pdf
API reference guides (thousands of pages) and came up empty for "setcurrentpage".
Where did you get that from?

Re: setcurrent page for pdf
I think I did a search on this forum for pdf + page. One of the threads I ran across had it in it.

Re: setcurrent page for pdf
You should download the SDK. You cannot give out their code, but you can use it. I'm pretty sure that it's free, also. Both people in that thread had the SDK, and were using it.

You can signup with Adobe at the free membership level to gain access to some of the SDKs and code samples.
