    Question

I was in another bbs a few mins ago...and i was reading a message from someone who was complaining about how he didnt get into his trigonometry class or calculus class, and he also so said that he has to take three math classes before he can take a C++ class.

What i am wondering is ..is it necciasary to know trig and calc to lear c++??

My highest level of math was pre-algebra..and i am also learning C++ on my own at the moment..and i aint having know problem learning it.

    Any ideas?

Disclaimer : i am not saying i am ultra-intelligent and i dont need to learn higher levels of math...i just want to know so dont get the wrong idea.

Algebra and Trig familiarize people with the method and the ideas behind variables and assigning them.

If you know those subjects you find learning coding a lot easier and as a large portion of Programming involves dealing with numbers in different ways (And C especially tends to deal more with numbers as its used for number crunching stuff) its a good idea to bone up on those subjects.

No it is not, I only had to pass algebra before getting into a C++ class.
