    My Xp Home Upgrade Cd..?

    Am selling my computer to a friend is it ok if he has the xp disc to and become a new owner as in to register..? with microsoft

    you should include the xp cd if he has the software on it. i don't think he needs to bother changing the registration. it wouldn't be legal for you to keep the cd and use it again if he has the machine, but if he needs to re-install, he can use his name to register it.
