    Search the net for a book called "The ultimate Memory Guide". I have it on PDF but the site won't let me upload it. It talks all about system RAM. It goes way back

    well, I don't want specifically on RAM; More of a general idea of how the main components work, not so much their history.

    input section, cpu, and output section, as I remember it.
    Now, there are so many things on boards, that it isn't the same as it was back in the old days, but the principle is the same.

    I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
