Thread: Large chat program

    I'm looking for an example of a large chat program (one that can handle like 100 ppl chatting would be best, but 30-50's acceptable). Assume i have unlimited server space. If you just have documentation on how to begin doing this, get in touch... i know the basics of using winsock, but i'm not very good. A large online game just was cancelled, and i'd love to make a small chat program for us to keep in touch... thanks if you can help...

    Try looking on http://www.planet-source-code.com for it. Search "Chat", "Winsock", or basically anything you can think of that has to do with chatting. I'm sure there is a few multi-user chat examples on there.

    Hope you find what your looking for.

    I just looked a few seconds ago, there are some samples that allow unlimited people.
