    Talking

    Hi Everybody.

I have noticed that a lot of people here want to get into real projects.

I have seen some of these sites where where projects are posted similar to this one.

The difference is the the site releases the software after completion and any sales of the software, a percentage goes to the people involved.

Now I don't know how good this is and whether or not it is a scam, but the basic idea sounds good.(Would look good on a resume as well)

I think there is a lot of talent here to be able wipe the floor with most of these other sites.

Don't know how you would go about it or whether one could be set up here.

    Just an idea!

I like that possibility. The main problem is finding an app to make.

I have plenty of projects I can make,
I made a list of about 20 of them last night.

    • Taskbar OCX(some Newbies get off on being able to hide/show the TBar )
    • Window Flashing OCX(to make windows blink)
    • Interface Controls
    • Etc...

I dont want to give away all my idea's so, thats all I am telling you right now....
I have many more idea's, and they are much much much MUCH better than these(those 3 are the crappiest ones on the list)

My current project is a better API viewer - it's about 1/2 done at the moment.

I think the main thing is Brainstorming we would all get together and put ideas forward.

As the saying goes two heads (or in this case many) are better than one.

An example of what I mean can be found at http://destinationsite.com/c?c=118942.43707.0.652.0

I don't know how good this is the the principle behind it seems pretty straight forward.

Dennis I can make my screen wobble without having to do any programming at all.

denniswrenn - I nicked them from the VB5 version, then added in a few of my own, and fixed some of the knackered ones.

I used the exported DB from the VB API viewer, but didn't like the structure so I wrote some code to parse them all out. It works completely now, BTW.
