AGP Converter
Here is the problem:
I recently (about 8 months ago) bought a new computer. Its a 2.4 GHz, and has all kinds of good stuff. The only problem is that there is no AGP port, and the compter needs some updating graphics wise. A friend of mine said that they made PCI to AGP converters. Is this true? Can you reccomend any good ones? and is there a major loss in quality?
Thanks in advance

I've never heard of one and doing so will give you about the same performance as a PCI graphics card. The AGP port is a special port and it's designed to connect directly to the processor and RAM, PCI goes through a bunch of smaller hubs and things, run lots slower and runs in parallel. My advice, get a new mobo, you won't be getting great games performance out of it without an APG port.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
