    Crystal and VB5

    Hello all,

    Im currently working with VB5's Crystal Report version 4.6.1.0, I know its old but I just got this software for maintanance...

    Anyway, I just modified one report..I inserted one field from a table not beign used before in that report...I somehow updated the Linking expert since at first I wouldnt get printed the added field, then I sent the file *.rpt to a customer.

    But the file doesnt work when the costumer tries to print...a "database not found" error is thrown...Im believing that the costumer has to "update" with the Linking expert in order to open the DB and get the field, is there anything I can do here that I can send over there to fix this?...Any thoughts anyone? Thanks..

    Have you tried exporting the report in a different format and sending that to him.
