    PDF and Acrobat READER

Is there a way to sign a pdf or stamp the file as "approved"???

Is there a way I can build a tiny app that will open the file like Acrobat and it would have the ability to stamp the file and then log that transacation to a txt file or something.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Here is some info that may help:

I am sure this can be done using an active x control in VB, you will probably need a full version, not just the reader. It may not be easy though.

    Thanks for the info people.

Since actually changing the PDF is proving to be an issue. Is there a way I can change the attributes of the file as far as windows goes? (The Author, Keyword, etc when you go to properties on a file)

I guess my ideal app would allow me to:

-View a PDF in my app and then click a button to approve it.
-I could see all files that need to be approved and all files that have been approved.

Let me know what you guys think....

I am very rusty as I have not done any programming in a few weeks. I think I am going to be a regular here again.

    Thanks in Advance.
