'Open' disabled in IE download window
Basically, when I click on a link to a TIFF file on the internet, the download window comes up as it should, but the 'Open' button is disabled. It didn't used to be like that. I now have to download the file to the desktop in order to view it.
Does anyone know why this has started happening and what I can do to fix it?
Thanks
Tom.

Did you try to set your tools>>internet options>>advanced tab to defaults

Or you can try Tools - Internet Options -> Security Tab -> click Internet and choose Custom level and see if the Enable Download is enabled.

Its most likely because your .tif files are no longer associated with a particular application.
Reassociate them and you should get your Open option back.
