API comparison call! - Need Help!

I have two pictures...

One is located on the desktop - the other one is
in a picture box. The picture in the picture box
is a captured copy of the picture on the desktop.

Now I want to compare the two pictures and if they
match the mouse cursor moves to the picture on the
desktop. The exact location of the picture on the
desktop is unknown. The program has to search for
this picture and do this commands if there is any
match.

OK - It's no problem how to move the mouse cursor
to any point on the screen, but I don't know how
to do this picture search procedure.
I think this would be done with some API calls.

If anybody knows how to do this he would help me
very much.
