Simple BMP -> JPEG conversion[resolved]
Howdy,
I'm not a serious graphics author, I'll use Mspaint to draw anything that I need to and that will be that. On my computer in the mspaint "Save As" dialog there were options to save the image as a jpeg, gif, and a bunch of different bmp formats. However I recently formatted that computer and reinstalled Windows (98Se) and now I can't seem to get those options back into paint.
Does anyone know how to get them back, OR does anyone know of a simple [preferably free] program that converts a bmp to a jpeg?
Thanks a lot,
George

Windows 98 lacks the ability to save in JPEGs. Windows ME can i think and up. Otherwise, goto www.download.com and search for graphics editor. You should find something there that you could use or look for graphics converter or something.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
