Win 2K!!!!!
Hiy
Im workin on a win 2K platfrom wrinting C programs that run in dos, the only thing is i cant run them. When i run them it come up with a message that says: "Access denied". How can i get rid of this?

It depends. Are you using Borland C++?
I use it on Win2K: no problems.
Perhaps you want to do IO commands (serial, memory, ...).
I think Win2K won't like that, because it's protected.

Get a compiler that creates native Windows programs (even for console, yes) such as MinGW (port of GCC).
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".

OK Parksie, but when writing console apps, he should learn the ++ part too, not?

Its not that the ones i write dont work, anyother program program doesnt work, even dos commands like cd and dir they all say Access denied.
