Where do you get Crystal reports? I got missing ocx

    Hello.

I am using VB 6 Ent. I canot find support for crystal reports. The crvierwer.dll or something. Where do I get these files? I belive Crystal R. comes by default with VS .net . But why not with VS6?

A version of Crystal (4) does come with VB6 but it is a manual install. Look in the tools folder on your VB CDs (can't remember which one).

However, I don't think version 4 contains the CRViewer. You must have Crystal 8.0(???) or above.

Unfortunately you'll have to pay for it, unless you intend to steal it.

I think that brucevde isn't entirely right - search the Crystal web site, I have a feeling that somewhere there is a control (CR Viewer, Smart Viewer, or one of their others) you can use with the version of Crystal you have.

If not, try looking into other software that could do the job - there's plenty of it around

I am not paying for it and I am not steling it. I will use data report then. How do you make in data report that the starting line of text would be dynamic. Soo the text woudnt overleap over one another. I hope you understand what I mean.
