3d card...PLEASE READ!

I have a Sony Vaio Laptop and I know Laptops aren't made for games, but for right now..its all I have.

I was wondering if they make external 3d cards (as good as voodoo)
Or does anyone know if Sony could install or upgrade my 3d Card...

Im tired of getting "no 3d card decteted" error...ERRRRRR

I strongly doubt it, 3D cards tend to be pretty hefty in terms of size so they wouldn't fit in a laptop, and I have never heard of an external graphics card.

Maybe it's a niche. You could make millions

I have a Vaio too and the vendor said there's no way to modify anything on it... (also wanted a new graphics card )

guess the only way out is a desktop... ill just cough up about 1000 dollars :-)
