    What is C#

    Hello
    I have programmed using C, C++, Visual C++, and Visual Basic. I have never heard of C#. Can anyone tell me a little bit about, and what applications can be developed using it.

    Visual C++ is not a language.

    If you like the C/C++ syntax then C# is what will replace VB for you.

    C# is microsofts native language for the new .NET platform. You can create all sorts of projects, such as windows apps, web apps, windows services, web services, custom controls, etc..
