    Angry File Shredding

The methods I've seen for file shredding seem pretty flukey. Can anyone tell me a good way to shred a file in C++?

I think he means that he wants to delete a file so that it can't be recovered using a file recover program. I think that the way you usually do this is to overwrite the file with garbage information and then delete it.
Never argue with fools, they will only drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

A: The latter thinks there's 1000 bytes in a kilobyte, while the former is sure there's 1024 meters in a kilometer

Yeah. There are codes the DOD & DOE (US) use to make sure data cannot be harvested from a deleted file. The algorithm is called ERAPAT. SEarch for it on Google.

Highwater-marking is another feature of this as well.
    Windows doesn't support highwater-marking
