how do i get the dos prompt when loading xp...?

You want to reboot your PC into DOS? you cant, XP doesnt have DOS, but if you reboot with command prompt (F8 on boot), itll load w/ a DOS box.. If thats what your talking about

Get a program called NTFSDOS.

It acts as an NTFS reader for FAT32 drives... and obviously also lets you browse dos at command level.

I think the file's called NTFS30d.zip... but that's been a while ago... so there's probably a new version out since.

P.S scr0P is right though... you can't boot in to dos through an XP boot loader unless you physically code the menu into your boot.ini, which is far from recommended.
