I'm at home now and have just noticed that the last post I made I had a post count of 186.
I could have sworn I was 192-194 or something when I was at work this afternoon, so I have just checked a thread that I had 2-3 posts in this afternoon and it is gone.
Does that mean if someone deletes their thread you lose all the posts you made off of you're total.

Chit chat posts don't count and if you posted it in General VB Questions or any other topic, as more people post new questions..your post will be moved to a different page..unless you have it "Show all threads" and keep clicking [Next Page].

I know posts don't count in Chit Chat, I think I've only ever made one maybe two posts in that forum ever, and that was months ago.
I definately lost 4-5 posts today, and I can not find the thread I was posting in. It was started by HeSaidJoe and me and Sam had 3-4 posts each in it. I can't find it to save my life.
John, if someone deletes their thread does that mean everybody who replied to it loses that amount of posts from their count?

Stevie did you delete a post in chit chat
You don't get a post count for posting in there, but you still lose if you delete a posting.....cool!!!!!!!!
Just deleting two award winning threads in here, and my post count dropped, so persumably if you started a thread and one of the admins deleted it then your post would drop.
Anyway who cares about counts??????????

Jethro, does that mean that you could rack up a negative post count by posting and deleting in Chit-chat?? Now that would be cool. Anyone willing to test this?

Does nobody understand what I'm saying???
I made the posts in the General VB Questions forum answering a question. So having answered the question, why have I lost posts off of my count?

Stevie. What might have happned is that someone could have deleted a whole thread which could have contained many post of yours.

I didn't realise if a thread was deleted you lose those posts off of your count.
The amount of things I've deleted when I've asked a question, got no reply, then figured it out by myself in the end.
Gutted!
