    Does anybody know a way to reset the autonumber field in Access back to 1. I don't know if it is possible but if it is, could you tell me. Thanks

    If you compact the database it will minimize the autonumber field by adding one to the max autonumber that is currently in the table. If there is no data in the table it resets to 1.
