    flashing text

    Hi,

i apologise for being lazy but i was hoping someone would already have a solution for what i am trying to do.

I want some text for my webpage to say, "Hints and tips", flash red and white in arial, size 2, bold, and be a hyper-link.

Hope someone can help before I have to learn javascript!

    Many thanks

This is not what you want to hear, but please do not try to do this. It is considerd bad page design using all this blinking stuff. Not to mention it can cause seizures and blinking red in very sensitive to many male's.

If you still want to do this, im sure someone can help you..but please consider my advice.

It's plain annoying. It gets the viewers attention: their only response is to scroll away from it, or more likely close the window.

There are other ways to get the viewers attention, a flashing epileptic seizure causing, annoying as barney piece of javascript is the last thing good web design calls for.

But then again it's his website. The easiest way to do this is not javascript, but by creating a GIF and making it a hyperlink.
