Ok we got fairly well sliced and diced this morning from a connection in London...watch out for email with titles like

    Life Stages
    Jokes Text
    Funny Text

Once again the attachment causes the problem...not clever but probably some twelve year old nerd getting his jollies by copying the "I Love You", "Melissa" et al virsus.

Some people are just dicks. This is not clever programming this is just wannabe crap

    Let me guess,

You were stuffing around with the vbs code and you accidently double clicked it!

Blame it on the marketing dept!!

    its never the programmers fault!
because us programmers, can make the decision whether the networks/computers work, or not

and you really have power if you write the software the businesses use within themselves.

one program on the main computer can screw up the whole damn network!

but why make one yourself, when you have the marketing dept. opening other ppls for you?
    hehe

I dont really work at a business, I have my own! and since I will be my own marketing dept. I dont really have anything to worry about.. hehe, I never open attachments...

    Yeah painful stuff

No l didn't create the sodding virsus, had to spend best part of the day cleaning it out of servers and desktops.

    Dennis,

The number one requirement for Marketing is being able to do lunch, we hired one of these cretins to help with by-lines for our new company, and ya can see below the sort of crap these guys come up with.
