Access pre-formats the tables based on the first data it sees in Excel as the data format.

Follow up question, then: Can I dynamically format either the Excel table by making all the cells a text format from Access (I don't have anything except alpha-numeric char's)? Or can I "undo" the pre-formatting technique of Access before it links to the table?
