    Hi There,
    I installed IIS 5 on my windows 2000... I tryed to run ASP/HTML files...
    I typted on IE http://127.0.0.1/index.html (for example) and it didnt worked...
    All the Asp/Html files on C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ ...
    Nothing works for me....

    Whta should i do? how can i run Asp pages?

    Please reply Asap

    is your INETINFO service started? (the web service)

    Try to use ipconfig to check you current ip address. Then enter at IE. The ip maybe change . For me I use PWS, the ip is fix.
    Try it see it work.

    127.0.0.1 is always the loopback (local) address

    I see ...
    but I'm using PWS
    my IP is 169.xxx.xxx.xxx
    and when using this ip i can access to my root directory.
    ANy ideal?
