How-to, DSL Connection

I'm looking for a way to write my own DSL dialup connection,
i already did a standard phone connection but DSL is very
particular. And for DSL i don't know where to start.

If someone wants to know why? I's just for fun.

I would appreciate greatly if someone could give me some
pointers or show the way where i can find the information
necessary to do that.
