Has anyone out there attempted to use ADO in conjunction with BDE (Borland Database Engine)? I'm trying to connect to a Paradox table using the native Microsoft Paradox Driver, but BDE always takes over (as it apparently does with all Paradox connections attempted on the users machine) and then it fails.

Does anyone know how to use BDE in the ADO connection itself or how to prevent BDE taking over when I haven't asked for it's help?
