When I am updating a record in my database application, my Crystal Report bombs out with a Run time error 3269 saying the other user has exclusive use of the database - does anyone know what I can do about this?? I thought reports could run no matter what - am I doing something wrong?

If you are using Access Database, change openmode from exclusive to shared database. How we can do that?

    -Open the database
-From menu, click tools then options.
-click advanced folder, then from the default Open mode
    choose shared.
