    Windows Socket compatibility

    Hi, what to do when I want to run my program both under W2k and W98 ??? Do I only need to recompile it under each OS ? I compiled my program under W2k, so under this OS it works well. But when I started it under W98, it crashed...I thought Windows Socket code is totally compatible...Thx.

    WinSock is compatible on my machine under both OS. You will have to post the code.

    WinSock Development Files
    WINSOCK2.H
    WS2_32.LIB

    Minimum System Requirements
    For use on Windows 95 (with upgrade), Windows 98 and version 4 or greater of Windows NT.
