    Question

Well?? I use Norton Antivirus (Antivirus), and Zonelabs Zonealarm (Firewall). I used to use McAfee Virusscan, but I'm just curious to see what protection programs you use? (Survey)

I use PC-cillin for my Antivirus and I do not have any firewalls on my computer so I don't use any software for it.

Another thread dragged to the surface...

Funny how some things don't change ZoneAlarm is still in use I've never had viruses but thought I'd better pay attention so I have AVG in now, and ZoneAlarm as a firewall

Same config as you IQM. Is ZoneAlarm so popular because it's free or because it's good?

    Why?

(Just wondering, because I found AtGuard to be an extremely good firewall, passed all the tests at grc)

Well I dont worry about any of them, so I only use BlackIce and not Virus protection...I have never been infected with a virus

Dennis - yes, it did, but I really couldn't be arsed to spend ages mucking around with it. It was fun for a while, but it got in the way, since I had a ridiculous programs list

I use the same as you - ZoneAlarm and Norton.

Dennis - Yes, BlackIce does suck. The reason I think so is because it doesn't actually stop anything. All it does is tell you that there is some activity, and you have to stop it manually.
