Hello.
I am trying to run a query asynchronously by using this statement:
RecSet.Open ...,...,...,adAsyncFetch
The recordset is declared in this line:
Dim WithEvents RecSet As ADODB.Recordset
I have inserted code in the FetchProgress and the FetchComplete events of the recordset object in order to update a progress bar on a form.
The problem is that the events just don't seem to occur at all!!! I have executed my program and waited around 3 minutes for the progress bar to be updated but nothing has happened!
Can someone help me please? I must finish this project until the end of the week!!!
Thanks!!!

did you use 'WithEvents' when declaring your Recordset?

Guru
does your withevents declaration reside at module level or procedure level?
are you handling the events?

The recordset is declared at module level, of course. I have no idea what the problem is.
