Thread: Registry Problems when installing VB on Windows NT

    I am having a problem with some controls when using VB 5.0 Enterprise. One particular control(microsoft windows common control 6.0 - mscomctl.ocx) keeps giving me a registration error(class not registered. looking for object with CLSID and then a number). I have tried to re-register the control with regsvr32 and it says that it is successful but the error does not go away. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled VB but still no success. Can anyone help?

    That's a VB 6 control. You can probably only use VB 5 controls with VB 5.
