Does anyone know a way to pull file associates and their associated icons? I know (or rather think I know) that they are all stored in the registry. I need to be able to pull the associations for files, then be able to change those types, and then be able to pull the icon for that association. Any help would be appreciated. Please reply here or e-mail me at:

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for exceptional help! I tried the code and played around with it a bit and was easily able to get what I needed done with it. You saved me an awful lot of time.
