    Question

    Hi everyone

I have a quick question which I think I know the Awnser but I'm just making sure. I'm Using microsofts personal web server to mirror the main IIS web server On an Intranet. The whole network is set up using the netBEUI protocol. Am I right in saying that for the other computers to see my computers web site A TCP/IP network has to be set up.

    Thanks for any help

    Ian

I haven't try to run PWS in an netbeui environment. To make sure whether it can be view or not, i suggest you view it thru IP e.g. http://192.168.1.1/

As i think, http is using port 80. If the network is well connected, then you should be able to view the webserver via IP. If there's DNS server configured, it should be able to resolve computer name.

Can you please tell me whether this work or not?? Just want to confirm about my theory.
