    USE CD on another Machine

Is there anyway to make a CD Drive on another machine the default CD drive? I have two computers where one CD drive isn't working properly. I'd like to use the drive on the other computer.

    Well good luck with that

If you mean like in Windows, the first trick that comes to mind is switch the order of the drives on the IDE channel (if you want the one that's on slave to be the default, make it master instead).

Are the computers networked? If so can't you Map a drive to the other PCs CD Drive and use that in your code?

I'm not sure what you mean by using HTML though, in a server-side scripting language such as PHP, ASP, CGI etc. its perfectly legal to use the above method.
