    have you ever written a program for use as operating system (replace system.ini shell=explorer.exe shell=yourapp.exe)

    i did so b'coz i wanted to annoy my brother....
    it worked great..... could also be used as a hoax....

    Making an OS in VB, why? you've already got windows, if you don't like it write something in assembler, or C at least, anything you do in VB requires windows to run.

    What he means is a GUI or Shell... well, I did, works fine. And at the moment I'm working on a new version of it, think it will become a better Shell than this without-cause-always-crashing-Explorer (Or at least hope so )

    The beta's like a desktop, you can add icons, configure them, set pictures and so on. No shell replacement yet!
