Linux: IDE CD-R SCSI Emulation?!
Hi all,
As you all know, I have SuSE Linux 7.3 Personal Edition set up, and my CD-R is IDE. It says before it can be used, SCSI emulation must be enabled. The device name is SR0, if that's any help to anybody. How would I go about setting it up? The manual says to edit rc.config using YaST1, but I don't know how to do that. I know how to load YaST1, but that's as far as it goes. And yes, today is my first Linux day.
