    I am assuming you mean a program written in VB.. YOU DONT!

    Vb apps cannot run on Linux.

    Well....

    well.... they can be ran, just not compiled for linux. You ever heard of Wine?

    yes iver heared of Wine. But your app is still not running on Linux just Wine. Wine is stupid as it is these programs that are keeping desktop apps off Linux. If you want your app to run on linux, write it in a language that supports it. For cing your users to have to isntall this thing to use your apps is dumb.

    And people wonder why linux is going nowhere on the desktop. Because instead of writing and improving apps for it they are either

    a) Creating their own flavor of Linux
    b) Writing programs to let Win32 apps run on Linux
    or
    c) Too busy complaining Microsoft has forced them to develop for Windows.
