Cannot see Post that should exist??

I got following email from VB Forum.

Alphanos has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Prime number generation - rapid algorithm required - in the Maths Forum forum of VB Q and A.

When I went to VB Forum, there was no such reply.

The above email had the following date/time: 12/7/01 6:05:24 PM Eastern Standard Time

Last Post to the thread which I have been able to view was by Nucleus at 11-20-2001 10:29 PM

It is quite feasible that the user in question deleted their post for some reason; as good as vBulletin is, it cannot delete emails that have already been sent.
