    ARRRGH!!!! .NET Failed installation TWICE!

    This is REALLY gettin on my nerves now.

    2 Days ago i went to install .Net Beta 2, half way threw installing it crashed and rebooted.....Windows wouldnt start up, so i tried safe mode....Windows still didnt run.

    So i had to format and lost alot of data in the process ( my VB app i was making that took a month to create..lost, and just as luck happened, i couldnt get the backup version working )

    Yesterday i got windows up and running with all required drivers i needed and usual applications i install.

    Went to install .NET

    Half way threw the third cd it stopped installing, so i cancelled the installation....Bang didnt work, just got stuck.

    So now i got a dodgy halved .net installed that cannot be run, i cannot uninstall, i cannot repair, and i cannot add or remove parts of it. Everytime i try it just holds.

    Its really annoying because of the hour half it takes to install just to find it dont work.


    So now looks like another Format and another hour and half to install .net again!

    The Beta 2 version can't be installed on Windows 98 or ME.
