    URL Save

A program I written a while back, which can save all the important (and not ) URL's.

Especially needed to have these URL's at hand when re-installing windows, moving to a new pc or for whatever reason.

Simple code. Straight forward. Nothing special. It's all about the idea.

    Included RTF help.

Will come in handy for getting to those visited sites. No more lost links (I hope). I like your use of colors. Thanks for the code.

    Pleasure.

I use it a lot myself. Sometimes I wonder if I must not put more sub-categories, but, time will have to tell...

URLBoxVB6.ocx is missing in zip file.
Remember that you should include usercontrol source code, also.

    Re: URL Save

The URLBox is not my code. It's a .ocx I have used.

    Re: URL Save

I didn't see any compiled files in that ZIP, but the link was problematic for a variety of reasons. I realize that the OCX might be important for understanding the context of the problem, but linking to some random site that has a binary is trouble. For one thing, we can't say anything about the reliability of code in that context. It's also something that can be used as a back-door means of advertising, which has caused us problems in the past.

    Re: URL Save

It's not a "random site" it's one of my own domains.

The zip file contain two files (URLBoxVB6.oca, URLBoxVB6.ocx) which is scanned both on my side as well as the server side for any virus.

There's also no advertisement etcetera, which I will never do
