using VB to control a camera

Hi I'm Hani from Malaysia and I'm a new user of VB. I would like to know is there any way to integrate a connectix quickcam with VB? Here is what I would like to do...

I want to program the connectix quickcam using VB so that it would take a snapshot whenever a user press any specified key on the keyboard...then the pictures taken will be stored automatically into database.

Anybody can help me with that?...any tips? any source code sample on how to do it? I really need help.
