Well somebody had to ...

The Queen Mum

"She was a trooper and she never gave up. I
remember one time she was visiting a school and I asked
her if she would like to make a visit to the cloakroom
before she left. 'No' she replied, 'I didn't give in to
the Nazis and I won't give in to the bladder'. That's
how she was, a fighter, who refused to be beaten by
anything. She pissed herself later though,it was
sickening". B. Forrester, North Yorkshire.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"She was a marvelous woman, and a wonderful
lover". L. J. Worthington, Penrith.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"I am absolutely devastated, at least we could
have got the day
off". S. Wilson, Bristol.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"How refreshing to be able to mourn the death of
a member of the Royal family without being accused of
being homosexual". J. Fletcher, High Wycombe.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"Her death should act as a warning to others who
think it is cool to experiment with drugs". E. Franks,
Cheshire.

condolences". T. Watson, Ilford.

--
"Perhaps if we automated her old golf buggy it
could still drive around The Mall on its own and bring
pleasure to the tourists". Y. Howell, Slough.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"Once again the Queen is not upset enough for my
liking, the woman should have a bit more compassion, how
would she feel if it was her mother?" W.Waugh, Richmond.

--------------------------------------------------------

"It is such a loss, God has shat on our heads".
K. O'Neil, Inverness.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"I am sure the Queen Mum will not let this
setback put an end to her public duties". N. Wallace,
Swansea.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"I hold Princess Margaret in no small way
responsible for this terrible event" E. Thompson, West
Lothian.

--------------------------------------------------------
-
"Bomb Iraq for us Tony, its the only thing that
will make us feel better" P. McGregor, Southampton.

--------------------------------------------------------
-
"We must do all we can, send blankets, food
parcels, jumpers, anything to help these brave souls who
are queuing up to walk past her coffin".
R. Thompson, Bath.

--------------------------------------------------------
-
"I have been unable to masturbate for five days,
and will not do so again until her majesty is buried" E.
Gorman, Derbyshire.

--------------------------------------------------------
-
"Good God, who is next, Geri Halliwell?".
R. Combes,Romford.

--------------------------------------------------------
-
"No matter how she felt, no matter the situation, she
always wore a smile.Just like a retard"
G. Hollins, East Sussex.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"I remember she came to visit us in the East End
one time. She was so kind, so generous and so sweet. She

person". E. Collier, London.

exciting as Diana". G. Williams, West Midlands.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"She was one of us, and by that I don't mean she
perpetrated insurance fraud or lied about expense
claims. She was like us in a good way.
God bless you ma'am". L. Weller, Harlow.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"If only I could get my hands on that fish bone
right now, you heartless bastard!"
J. Hedges, Cowdenbeath.

--------------------------------------------------------
--
"She had such a difficult life, always battling
against adversity and misfortune. Let us hope that if
there is a next time round she
is given a life of privilege and comfort"

Damn, was just about to post the same thread

very very funny

However, more insulting than the the piece I posted from the Guardian 2 days ago Ranj...can I assume your comments on my thread:

"I watched the funeral last night and thought it was quite good. The Guardian is written by a load of left wing ******s. "

and

"Lets not forget jealous, self serving and whatever the word for thinking they know better is."

are now redundant?

"I formally wish to complain about the terms of endearment that people use. Queen mum. Disgusting that is. She is not our mum, she was the Queen's mother and should be referred to that way !
She was high above us but still a very loveable person. She will be sadly missed " - T.Barkins, Leicester.

Ranj, I will not tolerate your flaming any more. FudgeBucket is as free an individual as anybody else on these forums, has been here a full two years longer than you, and has helped many people and has earned his place here.

I have tried to reason with you and asked you to refrain from flaming him, or at the very least limit it to the private domain. I don't particularly care what you think of his sexual orientation (which is screaming bender anyway), what your opinion of his site is, or what your opinion of him is. In fact, I’ve got no cause for complaint and no reason to keep going running to mummy, actually.

Sorry. Carry on.

Never said you were anal, just veering on the side of hippocracy - just to radically go back to the topic in hand (vbforums and turtletips should get a BIG boxing ring and collectively batter the **** out of each other...)

Feeling slight narked about being lambasted for the Guardian thread in the light of this thread IMO...

To be fair, Ranj didn't complain about the thread; he just disagreed with the article (and laid into the Guardian).

I grumbled about the article, but I shouldn't really have done because there was nothing much wrong in it. It was in the light of other Guardian articles & letters on the topic that I got miffed.

Sorry, Gaff.

Mate, I wasn't having a go at you, its the Guardian that I do not like. I really believe that they look down upon anybody that does not share their opinion on whatever subject. I did not want to offend you, I was just giving my opinion as regards to the paper and those that write for it.

Hairy muff... I've been reading it for for the last 12 years, and have always found their opinions refreshing and different.
I have never felt like I've been patronised into believing something. A paper is a source of information and opinion, not an instruction manual for living.

Horses for courses I guess...

Anyways, I'm late for my "Campaign for the Ramps for One Legged Black Lesbians in Soutwark" meeting...

*Smoothes Gaffer's ruffled feathers*

I'd offer to help, but I'm tied up with the far more worthy "Campaign for the Ramps for One Legged, One Eyed Black Lesbian Single Mothers in Southwark".
