    CHECK data file by date

    I need to check if \\myserverdir\database.mdb is newest of c:\midir\database.mdb, how to???

    in effect i update a recordset in \\myserverdir\database.mdb and before to copy and overwrite in c:\midir\database.mdb...
    I would be sure

    other way is welcome!!!

    NOTE;

    i use Access database and vb6 in this case

    IS this MS SQL or ACCESS or what? What is the type of database??
