    How to install lexmark X342n on Windows 7, 64 bit OS

    Hi. I have a lexmark X342n multi-function printer, which i want to install on Windows 7, 64 bit Operating SYstem. When i insert the CD so my PC says that this is not supported installation method. SEcondly when i connect the printer through USB to my computer, so it says that device not working, its malfunctioned. Please assist me that How do i install it? Even if its scanning is start working so it would be much better for me.

    you can try running windows update with it plugged in, but you might also try the lexmark website. I've had issues with lexmark printers not installing properly from the cd even in vista, but driver works from website
