I was trying to figure out a all-in-one forum like VBForums. That is, we could discuss general mobile queries, sub forums for discussing Android, Blackberry, Nokia, etc.. Like that.

If you want to talk about non-development issues then maybe General Developer wasn't the best place to post.

Sounds like a Chit Chat topic. We don't have any other "Non-Programming User Foofaraw" forum here.

Hard to imagine what they'd discuss over at some cellphone user's forum.

Maybe stuff like "I'm paying $200/month for a 'smart' phone plan, why am I living in poverty?" Or "Yes I have 20 months left on my 2-year contract but I just have to have the new ShimSham 3500!"

I.e. general commiseration on being sucked into the Consumer Black Hole that the cellphone industry is?

Sorry if I have posted in the wrong forum. I have several sub-forums and threads opened in the same browser at the same time. Might have made a mistake. Sorry, if I did.

I'm just saying the question wasn't a developer question, nor seemingly VB-related either.

Maybe a search engine would turn up a few sites for you though.

Re: Any good mobile discussion forum ?

I was having a doubt on rooting a Nexus7. And was not sure where to post in VBF.
Because the first site that I open after logging-in to my computer is VBForums and then StackOverflow. So was trying to find out any good sites(like a forum), that allows discussion of hardware/software related queries of mobile phones. I thought, maybe members in here, who are already a member of similar mobile forums could suggest a good one for me.

I came to know about the automobile discussion forum named xBhp when HoneyBee mentioned it in here. Similarly, I was looking forward to find a mobile forum.
