Birthday of Contacts/Friends
It will be good if you have included a "+" on those birthday's of friends/contacts. For example, say, I have around 60 friends. I would remember some of their screen names, and for the rest I might forget. So, sometimes I miss greeting them on their birthdays.
So, if a "+" (a notification to denote that a user is a friend/contact, like the one displayed in "who is online" bar) is included in "Today's Birthday's", it would be great.
Or, display a box with today's birthday's of friends/contacts somewhere in the UCP.
Thanks
BTW, any news about the updation of forum software(to version 4) ? Did Brad and team reached the final steps or will it take more time ?

Re: Birthday of Contacts/Friends
There is a test version of the forum in the updated version of vBulletin, but it is behind a firewall so I can't share it with anyone yet. We have started rolling out forums with the new software, so the updates are happening. We are starting with the smaller forums and working towards the bigger ones, with a few going each week.
VBForums is a bigger one, so it is near the end of the line. This is actually good because that gives the dev team time to work out the unexpected kinks before we do ths one!
yes, this has taken a lot longer than expected, but we are getting close now!

That's a good news.
But I really like to have a feature to list the birthdays of my contact/friends, each day

I don't think they have it !
When I mailed them some months ago, they said it is not available in the present version. But if it has to be added, I have to ask the license owner to get it added via their custom coding or something like that.
But when I asked about adding it by a coder among us, they said it is not a problem as the license allows the owner make any changes to the program.

Re: Birthday of Contacts/Friends
we limit the number of custom code changes we do to the base vBulletin software because it makes upgrading harder. With 20+ forums, one little change gets magnified 20 times when it is time to do such upgrades.
We do use some add-ins. If there are add-ins created to do something that have been in use or well tested, the we will consider incorporating those since they should upgrade independent of the vBulletin installations.
