Installing ReportDesigner/ Viiewer in VisualStudio 2010?
Hi guys!!
So I got a bunch of DataSets I need to output somehow.
Since I cannot use Crystal Reports due to Licence restrictions I was wondering if there was something buildt into the .net Framework that could do what I needed. Then I bumped into ReportViewer/ReportDesigner (doh, as you see I'm a total beginner into .NET).
It seems to enable me to do what I need, yet my Visual Studio 2010 Express does not come with it. I also read somewhere that Report Viewer / Designer wont come up with the 2010 versions of VisualStudio anymore, so bummer...
I've been searching around and I have not yet found a way to do what I need. So, any insight? Can I get the redistributable from 2008 and install it in VisualStudio 2010 Express? If not, any other alternatives?
Tnx fellows!

First alternative: not sure it works with dataset.
And I don't get to make MyNeoReport (second alternative) to work.
Tnx for the reply!

To recycle a thread - I'm up against this too.
I'm working with Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express, and I want a simple reports facility (I've gnashed my teeth at Crystal reports before and don't want to go down that route again) to work with recordsets from SQL queries.
Before I investigate a whole lot more, is ReportViewer a dead end? I found somewhere that MS had said "Our business has decided to discontinue support for Reporting Add-on in the Visual Studio Express SKU's starting in Visual Studio 2010."
Thanks
