Ripping BluRays
Anyone do it?
My collection is getting larger and larger so I've decided to set up a media centre. I've bought a 2TB NAS and I am working on getting a barebone system to run XBMS on it.
Anywho, I'm new to ripping BluRays and I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips on what size I should try for or where the quality really dips.
I ripped Braveheart last night at around 4GB and the quality was decent. I'm currently ripping it at 7.7GB now because it doubled the bitrate and I'm curious as to the quality difference.
Any tips would be appreciated.
*edit* err I guess this could have gone into General PC, so if any mod sees this, feel free to move it...but I also don't mind a little spam in the thread so it is fine here if you're feeling lazy.

When you rip the BluRays don't they get damaged?
Make as many mistakes as you can as quickly as you can. We want to make sure that we make a great enough number of mistakes in a given amount of time so that we can be successful.
