Windows is the only operating system that has nice looking user interface fonts. Mac has fat, blurry, ugly fonts. KDE and Gnome for *nix also have fat, blurry, ugly fonts.

Seeing the work available for Windows vs the work available for Macs, that's what makes them look better to me.

What do you mean? I have all three and I don't see any significant difference.

Re: What makes Windows look better than Macs?
It is usability.
Some folks find the mac more usable, others prefer windows.
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

Re: What makes Windows look better than Macs?
I don't understand the question. Windows is an OS and a MAC is a kind of computer.

Mac isn't so much a kind of computer cause even it runs on Intel chips now. However, Mac OS has existed since the beginning of the Mac computer

Really?!?!?
Did the Mac OS predate the Mac itself?

Well I might phrase it more like "... Mac is kind of a computer."

Ah. I'm not a fan of Apple, so I can't say that I know much about their operating systems, but I felt pretty sure that the Mac OS came out with the Mac computer. On the other hand, I really don't know what the Apple OS was called prior to the Mac (it might have just been Apple OS for all I know), so I thought there was some possibility that they had actually been calling the OS Macintosh prior to building the Mac hardware. That would have been weird, but stranger things have happened.

Re: What makes Windows look better than Macs?
Apple History lesson
My first program was on an Apple II (II+ and IIe, we had both in school). It used "DOS 3.3". Then they came out with a directory structured OS called ProDOS. Both of them were loaded from floppies, so you can have software that used either one depending what you booted with. After that there was the Apple III which I never used and then the Lisa which I never even saw. Then they come out with the Macs.

Re: What makes Windows look better than Macs?
1. You can look out of a window.
2. Windows also help ventilation.
3. You can roll them up or dwn, slide them, or open/close them.
4. You can wash them. A definite no for Mac.

Re: What makes Windows look better than Macs?
You can eat a mac and it is sold in macdonalds and it makes you fat.
You cannot eat a window as it would cause you severe pane.
You can wear a fedora but also figuratively eat it too.
